This thesis documents the internship activity focused on the design and development of an experimental web application, aimed at exploring the capabilities of modern web architectures in replicating a native-like user experience. The core of the research lies in the integration of three technologies: PushAPI, Service Workers, and NotificationAPI. The primary objective is to overcome the traditional constraints of web browsing, ensuring the delivery and display of push notifications even when the application is not actively open in the browser. Concurrently, a data synchronization mechanism (Silent Data Sync) is implemented: upon the arrival of a background notification, the Service Worker intercepts the payload and automatically updates the application's state, guaranteeing a consistent and updated interface for the user. The project demonstrates how extending the browser's asynchronous capabilities allows for high standards of responsiveness and user engagement.

Abstract
The project demonstrates how extending the browser's asynchronous capabilities allows for high standards of responsiveness and user engagement.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
