In today's society, promoting children's autonomy takes time. However, the standards required by fast-paced society itself do not always respect the child's time. This social evidence therefore limits the development of his autonomy during growth, not giving him the life experience that allows him to achieve it. Research places greater importance on the role of the caregiver, held responsible for their growth within a relational dynamic. The article is based on the analysis of bibliographic texts, scientific journals and interviews published in some sections. The first part focuses on the influence of the adult figure on child development, starting from Ellen Key's pedagogical considerations, on the psychological repercussions that a rarely present figure can entail, referring to Bowlby's attachment theory and the construction of Internal Operating Models (MOIs). The research then analyzed the evolution of the concept of autonomy in its semantics, and then analyzed the pedagogical paradox present in its educational application, through authoritative rules. Finally, after examining the methodologies and approaches that promote child autonomy, particularly the Montessori method, we turned to our own personal experience, which connects theory and practice. Following a systematic observation adopted during the preschool internship and the work experiences at the preschool, some critical issues emerged in the educational proposals and in the differences that may arise from the use of one approach to another, which compromises the child's autonomy. The research aims to attribute greater awareness to the autonomy of the child (0-6 years), highlighting the influence of the adult in his education.

Abstract
The research aims to attribute greater awareness to the autonomy of the child (0-6 years), highlighting the influence of the adult in his education.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
