This thesis analyzes the historical and political evolution of the Lega in Veneto, tracing the movement's trajectory from its origins to the current presidency of Alberto Stefani. The investigation adopts a press-based approach, utilizing local and national newspapers as a magnifying glass to decipher the media narrative, the shifts in political-communicative lexicon, and the public perception of the party over the decades. Veneto has represented the ideal laboratory for the Lega’s political agenda: from the pioneering era of the Liga Veneta to the birth of the Lega Nord, up to the national turnaround, passing through the Zaia presidency and the current leadership of Alberto Stefani, which lays the groundwork for the party's near future. Through a detailed and critical analysis of press articles, this work highlights how the media has been an active player in shaping public consensus and narrating the movement's ideological evolution. In conclusion, the research underscores how the historical deep-rooting of the Lega in Veneto serves as the key to understanding the metamorphosis and adaptability of the leghista phenomenon at a national level.

Abstract
In conclusion, the research underscores how the historical deep-rooting of the Lega in Veneto serves as the key to understanding the metamorphosis and adaptability of the leghista phenomenon at a national level.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
