This thesis will investigate the effects of magnetic microbeads on intraocular pressure in a preclinical rat model. Magnetic microbeads are commonly used in experimental glaucoma research to induce ocular hypertension by obstructing aqueous humor outflow. The project will discuss both the scientific relevance of this model and the animal management aspects involved in its application, including monitoring, welfare, and experimental procedures.

Abstract
This thesis will investigate the effects of magnetic microbeads on intraocular pressure in a preclinical rat model. Magnetic microbeads are commonly used in experimental glaucoma research to induce ocular hypertension by obstructing aqueous humor outflow. The project will discuss both the scientific relevance of this model and the animal management aspects involved in its application, including monitoring, welfare, and experimental procedures.File in questo prodotto:
