The proposed thesis stems from an interest in the role that trade fairs play in contemporary society, particularly as tools for communication and territorial promotion. The first part of the thesis focuses on trade fairs, examining their evolution and main characteristics. The analysis then turns to Vinitaly, which has been selected as the case study. The main objective is to understand how a major international trade fair is planned, organized, and communicated by examining the strategies adopted, the role of the different stakeholders involved, and the event's contribution to promoting the Made in Italy brand. Through the analysis of the documentation related to Vinitaly and its organizational model, the thesis aims to highlight how trade fairs continue to represent an important tool for promotion, communication, and development, fostering relationships between institutions, businesses, and the public.
