This thesis examines translator training within the framework of the European Master's in Translation (EMT) network, drawing on the main models of translation competence and the competences defined by the EMT framework. Through a comparative analysis of the master's programmes offered by Italian and Spanish universities belonging to the EMT network, it explores how these competences are developed across different educational contexts. Furthermore, by means of a questionnaire administered to students enrolled in the Master's Degree in Modern Languages for Communication and International Cooperation at the University of Padua, the study investigates students' perceptions of the competences they have acquired during their academic training.

A través de un análisis comparativo de los programas de máster de universidades italianas y españolas pertenecientes a la red EMT, se examina cómo se desarrollan las distintas competencias en los diferentes contextos formativos. Asimismo, mediante un cuestionario dirigido a los estudiantes del Máster en Lenguas Modernas para la Comunicación y la Cooperación Internacional de la Università degli Studi di Padova, se analiza la percepción de las competencias adquiridas durante su formación.

Abstract
This thesis examines translator training within the framework of the European Master's in Translation (EMT) network, drawing on the main models of translation competence and the competences defined by the EMT framework. Through a comparative analysis of the master's programmes offered by Italian and Spanish universities belonging to the EMT network, it explores how these competences are developed across different educational contexts. Furthermore, by means of a questionnaire administered to students enrolled in the Master's Degree in Modern Languages for Communication and International Cooperation at the University of Padua, the study investigates students' perceptions of the competences they have acquired during their academic training.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
