This thesis presents the application of the HBIM (Heritage Building Information Modeling) methodology to the study of architectural heritage, focusing on the analysis of the industrialized construction methods used by two companies from Verona active in school construction during the second half of the twentieth century. The objective was to create a parametric digital model oriented towards information management. The first phase analyzes the evolution of the Italian educational context starting from the post-unification era, highlighting how the "crisis of spaces" and the subsequent demographic boom made a large-scale architectural response necessary. Considering this infrastructural emergency, the research provides an overview of the experiments, national competitions, and legislative measures that guided the technological evolution of the sector. Therefore, it illustrates the progressive transition from traditional construction methods to building industrialization and prefabrication. The discussion then examines the construction methods employed by the Bortolaso and Saira firms, exploring the architectural and structural peculiarities of the respective case studies. The second part of the thesis focuses on the HBIM methodology, outlining its guidelines and theoretical foundations. It describes the procedural steps undertaken for the historical-technical analysis of the buildings, ultimately detailing the process that led to the creation of the digital models. Through this approach, each architectural and structural component was modeled as a parametric object and integrated with specific information retrieved from archival documents. In this way, HBIM simplifies and extends the use of primary sources, proving to be a fundamental tool for deepening the historical and technical knowledge of the analyzed buildings.
