Generating a database of geological environment in ArcGIS intended use of geothermal ground in the province of Treviso. This thesis want to show how to generate a database of geologic data and use it to mapgeoexchange potential. The studied area takeplace about 30 km East from Treviso and it's disposed NW-SE in the Po Plain. Input dataset was taken, mostly, from the archives in Treviso's Genio Civile, as lithostratigraphic column. Other data has been taken from bibliographic records: thermal and hydraulic conductibility, groundwater level and thermal gradient. Data has been displayed as points, everyone with their geological information. With two statistics tools (Kriging and Inverse Distance Weight) all the points has been interpolated into thematic maps. All the results has been used to create the geoexchange potential map. All values has been divided in three classes: low, medium and high potential.
