Tissue engineering has been a topic of extensive research over the last few decades. In this field, various types of structures have been developed for regenerating different types of tissues such as cartilage and bone, a structural material that supports human skeleton. In order to treat the bone deficiencies it has been developed a support structure called Sscaffold .The aim of this study is the preparation of two different types of porous composite scaffolds: the former made of nanohydoxyapatite/poly(lactide) and the latter composed of nanohydoxyapatite/poly(hydroxyalkanoate). The purpose is to evaluate the feasibility of a preparation method combining melt blending and particulate leaching techniques. This method is particularly interesting because of its industrial applicability and because it is an organic solvent-free technique

Abstract
This method is particularly interesting because of its industrial applicability and because it is an organic solvent-free techniqueFile | Dimensione | Formato | |
