Abstract

This thesis aims to study the neutrino oscillation and in particular to understand how the sensitivity for the parameters (sin(2ϑ_12))^2, (Δm_12)^2, and (sin(2ϑ_13))^2 varies with the energy resolution of the experiment. the thesis takes inspiration from the Jiangmeng Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) experiment, which will take place in China starting from 2020 and whose main purpose is to verify which is the true neutrino mass hierarchy.
