Experimental analysis and modelling of a dry granulation process

This project explores the dry granulation, through an experimental analysis which involves the main conditions affecting this process used for the production of pharmaceutical tablets. The influences of these factors are studied by analysing the particle size distribution of the granules milled in a conical mill. Then, the milling step is modelled through the implementation of a Population Balance Model.
