In this thesis are reported the monitoring activities that took place between April and October 2016 in the debris-flow site of Rio Acquabona, near Cortina d’Ampezzo (BL), and the analysis of the collected data. Particularly, It has been decided to study in detail the rainfall occurred in the site and to estimate how it affected the debris-flow and runoff phenomena. In order to do that, the monitoring system of Rio Acquabona was used. The instruments used during 2016 consisted in three tipping rain gauges placed at different heights and a downstream station, located on the left bank of the flowing channel, equipped with a camcorder. In the thesis it is also described the new intermediate station that will be used from next year. Rainfall data collected by the rain gauges have been analysed both as a whole and subdivided into single events. Main rainfall events have been analysed in detail. Besides rainfall data have then analysed together with information and images of the debris-flows and runoff phenomena occurred during the monitoring period collected by the downstream station.
