Abstract

Asteroseismology has provided precise methods for stellar parameters estimation (e.g. mass, radius and age of stars). Our aim is to quantify systematic errors when the Bayesian method implemented in the PARAM code is applied with various input grids of evolutionary tracks. We consider three grids characterized by different overshooting parameters for convective H-burning cores. Error estimates on the derived parameters are obtained through simulations of stellar populations with the TRILEGAL code.
