During the 20th century, a number of biologists studied the arterial networks and their bifurcation angles. In this thesis we are trying to obtain numerically some of their results on the branching angles using the Extended Dynamic Monge-Kantorovich (EDMK) model described by Enrico Facca in his PhD thesis. At first, we are introducing the main results about Optimal Transport and the biological analysis of cardiovascular system. Later, we are showing our results, after having reported a description of EDMK model.

Abstract
During the 20th century, a number of biologists studied the arterial networks and their bifurcation angles. In this thesis we are trying to obtain numerically some of their results on the branching angles using the Extended Dynamic Monge-Kantorovich (EDMK) model described by Enrico Facca in his PhD thesis. At first, we are introducing the main results about Optimal Transport and the biological analysis of cardiovascular system. Later, we are showing our results, after having reported a description of EDMK model.File in questo prodotto:
