On the embeddings of quasi-categories into prederivators

The goal of this thesis is to present a survey of the relationships between the theory of quasi-categories and that of prederivators. In the first chapter we illustrate the basics on quasi-categories as well as the model structure of which they are fibrant objects. In the second chapter we give an overview of the theory of prederivators. Finally, in the third chapter we explain the interactions between them. In particular, we describe how to construct two kinds of embeddings of the former into the latter and we see that there exists a model structure on prederivators which is equivalent to the one presented in the first chapter.
