Abstract
The topic of this thesis is the study of the wetting phenomena of stainless steel by liquid gallium, a liquid metal that could be used as plasma facing component in a fusion reactor. In this work, an ultra-high vacuum experimental set-up is designed and constructed in order to investigate oxide-free gallium wetting properties on stainless steel samples.File in questo prodotto:
