The thesis is about a study on the capability of lithium niobate crystals drugged with iron to trap charged particles for electrophoresis effect. The crystals are locally drugged with the sputtering tecnique and the successive diffusion of iron by annealing. Than the reduction degrees are changed by thermal tecniques. The crystals are used to trap particles by the electrophoresis effect induced by light. In the thesis is studied the efficacy of the trapping depending on the duration of the elinghtenment and the rection degree of the crystals. The more the reduction degree in high, the more the trapping will be efficient.

Abstract

The thesis is about a study on the capability of lithium niobate crystals drugged with iron to trap charged particles for electrophoresis effect. The crystals are locally drugged with the sputtering tecnique and the successive diffusion of iron by annealing. Than the reduction degrees are changed by thermal tecniques. The crystals are used to trap particles by the electrophoresis effect induced by light. In the thesis is studied the efficacy of the trapping depending on the duration of the elinghtenment and the rection degree of the crystals. The more the reduction degree in high, the more the trapping will be efficient.
