Le vulnerabilità dell'anziano ipoacusico

The aim of this thesis is to research, using sources in the literature, how much hearing loss occurs in the elderly today and the figure itself. The fragility of an elderly person with the onset of cognitive decline and social dangers. Emphasis is placed on social isolation and emotional instability which is very often not considered when it should be a priority. Furthermore, the thesis places importance on the acceptance of the subject's deafness with a prosthetic purpose and demonstrates whether prosthetic strategy devices improve the quality of life.

L'obiettivo proposto da questa tesi è ricercare, mediante fonti in letteratura, quanto insorga oggi l'ipoacusia negli anziani e la figura stessa. Le fragilità di un soggetto anziano con l'insorgenza del declino cognitivo e i pericoli sociali. Viene data importanza nell'ambito dell'isolamento sociale e instabilità emotiva che molto spesso non viene considerata quando dovrebbe essere una priorità. Inoltre, la tesi pone importanza all'accettazione della sordità del soggetto con un fine protesico e dimostrare se i dispositivi di strategia protesica migliorano la qualità della vita.
