The problem of university housing is a theme that has been highlighted for several years and nowadays, following the COVID-19 emergency, has assumed even more importance; Padua, a university city since the foundation of the University of Padua in 1222, is also affected by the lack of spaces for the life and accommodation of university students, outside the classrooms. From a first reading carried out to the municipal area and the university environment, paying particular attention to students' needs, in relation to university life, the current legislation and the availability of spaces offered, a reflection was made on the possible implications that could originate from a project that intends to try to solve, at least partially, the problem of university housing. Therefore, is presented an urban regeneration proposal that illustrates the project of a university campus destinated for the hospitality of university students, in which attention is paid to the existence of spaces dedicated to them, and which is also involved in an open dialogue towards the consolidated city and the resident population.

Abstract
Therefore, is presented an urban regeneration proposal that illustrates the project of a university campus destinated for the hospitality of university students, in which attention is paid to the existence of spaces dedicated to them, and which is also involved in an open dialogue towards the consolidated city and the resident population.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
