The Body Image’s phenomenon on Social Media and Social Network was discussed. It was analyzed how the individuals create the image that have of theyself online, also through the “Theory of social comparison". Different movements (social and cultural) related to Body Image (online body’s representation) were analyzed: Body Shaming, Fit Inspiration, Thin Inspiration, Body Positivity, Body Neutrality. Finally, a qualitative analysis of a case study was made: an influencer dealing with the topic of Body Shaming and Body Positivity on Instagram.
È stato trattato il fenomeno della Body Image su Social Media e Social Network. È stato analizzato come l’individuo crea l’immagine che ha di se stesso online, anche attraverso la “Teoria del confronto sociale”. Sono stati analizzati diversi movimenti (sociali e culturali) legati alla Body Image (rappresentazione del corpo online): Body Shaming, Fit Inspiration, Thin Inspiration, Body Positivity, Body Neutrality. Infine è stata fatta un’analisi qualitativa di un caso studio: una influencer che tratta l’argomento del Body Shaming e della Body Positivity su Instagram.
