Abstract
In the course of evolution, human beings developed innate psychobiological tendencies that allow them to regulate their emotions and behaviors; this has an adaptive purpose and it consents a positive and favorable relationship with the surrounding physical and social environment. The individual is affected by internal drives and instincts but also by external and environmental pressures; however, there is no determinism, there are a lot of factors that, in relation to each other, can lead to countless possibilities, starting from the combination of nature and nurture. Positive psychology focuses on positive emotions and how these are connected to the construct of flourishing: positive emotions help our mind expanding itselfs, being more permissive and creative. The script’s target is to investigate which the mechanisms that regulate the human brain are, in order to know and exploit more effective strategies to allow individual’s full development, considered as an active subject, in the making, that tends to self-realization and to make sense of his life.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
