In this paper we want to illustrate the thesis sustained by Alan Donagan in the moral field with particular attention to the Kantian theory of "Ends in themselves" and the respect of the rational creature as an end in itself. We will show how the Kantian moral theory is presented by Donagan as directly linked to the moral of the Jewish-Christian tradition and how the latter is justifiable regardless of theistic beliefs.

Abstract
In this paper we want to illustrate the thesis sustained by Alan Donagan in the moral field with particular attention to the Kantian theory of "Ends in themselves" and the respect of the rational creature as an end in itself. We will show how the Kantian moral theory is presented by Donagan as directly linked to the moral of the Jewish-Christian tradition and how the latter is justifiable regardless of theistic beliefs.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
