This project aims to better understand how and why students use technology in language learning. This thesis proposes to further examine the way in which multilingualism has developed in our society, specifically in the education field, and how contributes to enrich our perceived notions about first and second language acquisition. It is generally agreed today that the Internet has opened different ways of learning. Therefore, the central question of this dissertation is: how might technology affect language learning? Finally, I will investigate the new digital environment learning and collect the results of a case study in my research.
