In this thesis it was experimentally and numerically investigated a 18 kWh latent thermal storage based on Phase Change Materials (PCMs). The roll-bond technology was used to efficiently store and release cold energy from water to PCM. This storage can be combined with a domestic air-conditioning system to reduce its energy consumption and thus emissions, aiming to make the whole system more environmentally sustainable.

Abstract
In this thesis it was experimentally and numerically investigated a 18 kWh latent thermal storage based on Phase Change Materials (PCMs). The roll-bond technology was used to efficiently store and release cold energy from water to PCM. This storage can be combined with a domestic air-conditioning system to reduce its energy consumption and thus emissions, aiming to make the whole system more environmentally sustainable.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
