Lean management e Setsuban Kanri nelle aziende Engineer-to-Order: il caso Alit Technologies

The thesis in question is an essay that analyzes the role of Lean management in the engineer to order field, underlining that this organizational and managerial philosophy is not only the prerogative of companies with high volumes and low variety. The increase in diversification, competitor and market complexity, has brought to the fore ETO companies that creating highly customized products or services must try to satisfy the customer in terms of time, quality and cost. Being complex products, planning must also be free of inconsistencies and synchronized step by step, for these purposes, a tool of lean planning of orders such as setsuban kanri, represents the expression of the lean philosophy applied to a context characterized by high variety and low volumes.

La tesi in oggetto è un elaborato che analizza il ruolo del Lean management nell'ambito engineer to order, sottolineando come tale filosofia organizzativa e gestionale non sia solo prerogativa di aziende con volumi elevati e bassa varietà. L'aumento di diversificazione, competitor e complessità di mercato, ha portato alla ribalta le aziende ETO che creando prodotti o servizi altamente personalizzati devono cercare di soddisfare il cliente in termini di tempo, qualità e costo.
