In this thesis the mathematical modelling of the thermodynamic behaviour of a shell-and-tube evaporator with integrated spray system is presented. The evaporator here analysed, leading product of the Provides Metalmeccanica company, is installed in an oil-free centrifugal chiller manufactured by Uniflair – Schneider Electric in Conselve. The result to be achieved in this thesis is to derive correlations which allow to obtain the heat exchange coefficients on the internal and the external side of the tubes.
In questo lavoro di tesi viene presentata la modellazione matematica del comportamento termodinamico di un evaporatore a fascio tubiero con sistema spray integrato. L’evaporatore in questione, prodotto di spicco dell’azienda Provides Metalmeccanica, è installato all’interno di un chiller oil-free realizzato dall’azienda Uniflair – Schneider Electric di Conselve. Il risultato che si desidera raggiungere in questa tesi è quello di ricavare delle correlazioni che consentano di ottenere i coefficienti di scambio termico lato interno ed esterno tubi.
