An analysis of the role of Egypt and Turkey in the Libyan conflict

An analysis of the role of both most significant regional actors in the the Libyan armed conflict, starting from the different types and phases of an armed conflict to the situation in Libya and how the crisis started and turned from peaceful protests to a civil war with two camps supported by foreign actors. The thesis focuses on the role of different regional actors and the origin of their opposition, with a focus on Egypt and Turkey as key players in the conflict.

Un'analisi del ruolo dei due attori regionali più significativi nel conflitto armato libico, partendo dai diversi tipi e fasi di un conflitto armato alla situazione in Libia e come la crisi è iniziata e si è trasformata da proteste pacifiche a un conflitto armato con due campi sostenuti da attori regionali e internazionali. La tesi si concentra sul ruolo dei diversi attori regionali e sull'origine della loro opposizione, con particolare attenzione all'Egitto e alla Turchia come attori chiave nel conflitto.
