Abstract
The use of materials with ever better mechanical characteristics, in the field of construction and beyond, has led to the design of increasingly slender elements, highlighting the phenomenon of instability. In this paper, the theoretical foundations concerning the problem of instability are presented, with particular interest in determining the Eulerian critical load. Furthermore, with the aid of a numerical software for structural calculation, the correspondences are sought between the theoretical results shown and the results obtained from the numerical analysis.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
