This paper intends to specifically address the treatment of the theme of public opinion that Hegel carries out in his main work of political philosophy: the "Elements of the Philosophy of Right". The analysis of the content of these paragraphs is followed by an attempt to highlight the marked difference that separates the Hegelian perspective on the State and, more specifically, on public opinion, from the trend of the time, represented by the theoretical elaboration of the philosophers of Enlightenment and by the its historical manifestation in the form of the bourgeois rule of law. The understanding of these differences can be traced to the contradictions of the model of the bourgeois liberal state that Hegel glimpses and criticizes, and to which he tries to propose an alternative

Abstract
This paper intends to specifically address the treatment of the theme of public opinion that Hegel carries out in his main work of political philosophy: the "Elements of the Philosophy of Right". The analysis of the content of these paragraphs is followed by an attempt to highlight the marked difference that separates the Hegelian perspective on the State and, more specifically, on public opinion, from the trend of the time, represented by the theoretical elaboration of the philosophers of Enlightenment and by the its historical manifestation in the form of the bourgeois rule of law. The understanding of these differences can be traced to the contradictions of the model of the bourgeois liberal state that Hegel glimpses and criticizes, and to which he tries to propose an alternativeFile | Dimensione | Formato | |
