In recent years, migration flows have increased throughout the world, especially in Europe. The current global estimate reported by the International Organization for Migration states 281 million international migrants, which equates to 3.6% of the global population. In order to help ensure humane management of migration, promote international cooperation on migration issues and provide humanitarian assistance to migrants in need, the work of NGOs and other organizations is a beacon of hope for thousands of men and women. It is therefore important that the personnel of these organizations are increasingly prepared and ready to follow the complicated dynamics of refugees and migrants. For this reason, two of the most significant figures working in international organizations are the humanitarian interpreters and mediators who play a pivotal role in translating, informing and protecting individuals in order to allow them access to their rights.

Abstract
In recent years, migration flows have increased throughout the world, especially in Europe. The current global estimate reported by the International Organization for Migration states 281 million international migrants, which equates to 3.6% of the global population. In order to help ensure humane management of migration, promote international cooperation on migration issues and provide humanitarian assistance to migrants in need, the work of NGOs and other organizations is a beacon of hope for thousands of men and women. It is therefore important that the personnel of these organizations are increasingly prepared and ready to follow the complicated dynamics of refugees and migrants. For this reason, two of the most significant figures working in international organizations are the humanitarian interpreters and mediators who play a pivotal role in translating, informing and protecting individuals in order to allow them access to their rights.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
