The relationship between Wayfinding inclinations, Connectedness to Nature and Pro-environmental Attitudes and Behaviours

Human behaviour is one of the main causes of environmental issues. The present research aims at discovering if specific individual differences can be linked to pro-environmental behaviours. It was observed that environment-related aspects, such as one's connection with nature, could be factors related to pro-environmental behaviours. This study investigated also on the approach towards environmental orientation tasks, such as the pleasure for exploring the environment, to discover whether it can be another factor related to pro-environmental behaviour and attitudes.

Il comportamento umano è una delle principali cause dei problemi ambientali. La presente ricerca vuole analizzare se alcune caratteristiche individuali possono essere legate ai comportamenti pro-ambientali. Si è visto che aspetti più legati all’ambiente, come la propria connessione con la natura, potrebbero essere dei fattori legati ai comportamenti pro-ambientali. Questo studio ha anche indagato se l’approccio verso i compiti di orientamento nell’ambiente, come il piacere di esplorare luoghi, possa anch’esso essere in relazione ai comportamenti pro-ambientali.
