Abstract
The following project aims to optimize a temperature control system of a Lithium-Ion battery, making use of phase change material (PCM). The study and optimization work was carried out with the help of the ANSYS Fluent CFD software, with which it was possible to develop a numerical model that was validated with the data collected in the laboratory. The model thus obtained was used to optimize the cooling system, analyzing the effect of the thickness of PCM in order to comply with the pre-established operating parameters.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
