Writing the triennal thesis has given an excuse to immerse into the structural calculation softwares world, whose mastery is nowadays is more and more needed for the profession. Awaiting to start the master degree, and by supervisor teacher's advice, I had the chance to use the software Midas GEN, made available by the University, to reproduce in digital model the not extremely complex but complete structure of an industrial warehouse. The thesis' content shows the building's description, the materials and the elements' dimensions involved in the realization of the load bearing structure, the static analysis done, in constant comparison with the current regulation.
La redazione della tesi triennale ha fornito un pretesto per potersi immergere all'interno del mondo dei software di calcolo strutturale, la cui padronanza oggigiorno è sempre più richiesta per la professione. In attesa di iniziare gli studi magistrali, e su consiglio del docente relatore, ho avuto la possibilità di usufruire del programma Midas GEN, messo a disposizione dall'Università, per riprodurre in modello digitale la struttura, non estremamente complessa ma completa, di un capannone industriale. Il contenuto della tesi illustra la descrizione dell'edificio, i materiali e le dimensioni degli elementi adoperati per la realizzazione della struttura portante, le analisi statiche eseguite, in costante confronto con la normativa vigente.
