Analisi di sicurezza delle applicazioni Xiaomi di sistema e delle applicazioni Xiaomi sul Google Play Store

Whenever a new smartphone that relies on android as its OS comes out, vendors such has Xiaomi, Samsung, Motorola, Huawei can customize the phone with preinstalled applications with vendor specific functionalities. Such applications, that require root permission to be uninstalled, can be also foundon the google play store which can guarantee for the security of the app. In this thesis we are going to compare these two type of the same app to find out if one behaves differently than the other or if an application has some hidden functionalities or vulnerabilities with respect to the other type. We are going to use Xiaomi smartphones has our test subject.
