The paper analyzes the role of eco-innovation in the transition to the green economy. Thus, the first chapter opens by defining the latter and then focuses on what eco-innovation is, what functions it has, and why it is critical to the success of a green strategy. In particular, the effects of eco-innovation are analyzed first on environmental performance, the primary goal of the innovation under consideration, and then on economic performance, which is essential for it to be an investment choice. The second chapter deals with what are the drivers of eco-innovation, distinguishing internal drivers, that is, those included in the business system, from external drivers, such as institutions and other businesses. The last chapter is a practical case with Clerprem, a company in the upper Vicenza area, at the center, which, included in the automotive supply chain, manages to successfully put eco-innovation into practice to achieve such performance that it is chosen by some of the world's leading manufacturers in the sector.

Abstract
The last chapter is a practical case with Clerprem, a company in the upper Vicenza area, at the center, which, included in the automotive supply chain, manages to successfully put eco-innovation into practice to achieve such performance that it is chosen by some of the world's leading manufacturers in the sector.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
