Integrated crop protection is a key factor for achieving the productive capacity necessary to reward the farmers and to meet consumer demand. The leading instruments for crop defence are based on the use of natural and synthetic phytosanitary and alternatives or supplement to phytosanitary products are emerging from the study of nanoparticles. Their composition is based on nanomaterials which can be mineral or metal with fungicidal and bactericidal effects despite the absence of an active ingredient. The toxicity is considerably reduced compared to that of common phytosanitary products and the residues exceeding the control action derived from the nanoparticles are functional as a supply of nutrients for the plants themselves.

Abstract
Integrated crop protection is a key factor for achieving the productive capacity necessary to reward the farmers and to meet consumer demand. The leading instruments for crop defence are based on the use of natural and synthetic phytosanitary and alternatives or supplement to phytosanitary products are emerging from the study of nanoparticles. Their composition is based on nanomaterials which can be mineral or metal with fungicidal and bactericidal effects despite the absence of an active ingredient. The toxicity is considerably reduced compared to that of common phytosanitary products and the residues exceeding the control action derived from the nanoparticles are functional as a supply of nutrients for the plants themselves.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
