EDIZIONE DEL MANOSCRITTO MS842, TRADUZIONE RINASCIMENTALE DELL'INFERNO DANTESCO IN FRANCESE.

I decided to work on manuscript MS842 which is a French Renaissance translation of Dante's Inferno written by Philippe Auguste le Hardy de La Trousse with a first part on Dante's life. For this work I had to do the critical edition of the manuscript with a presentation of the manuscript and the biography of the writer. I had to investigate the owners of the manuscript to find out where the manuscript traveled and how it got to the library in Toulouse (in France). I later speculated on why the author translated Inferno and how he knew Italian. This research work led me to investigate the writer's relationship with her cousin Madame de Sévigné, his relationship with the Prince of Cisterna, and finally his relationship with the Cardinal Mazarin. After this, my work consists of a linguistic analysis of the author's writing, which often uses double consonants or accents differently than the norms. But also to know if there are any differences between the translation and Dante's original.

Ho decido di lavorare sul manoscritto MS842 che è una traduzione rinascimentale in francese dell’Inferno di Dante scritta da Philippe Auguste le Hardy de La Trousse con una prima parte sulla vita di Dante. Per questo lavoro ho dovuto fare l’edizione critica del manoscritto con una presentazione del manoscritto e la biografia dello scrittore. Ho dovuto indagare sui possessori del manoscritto per sapere dove ha viaggiato il manoscritto e come è arrivato alla biblioteca di Toulouse (in Francia). In seguito ho ipotizzato su perché l’autore ha tradotto l’Inferno e come conosceva l’italiano. Questo lavoro di ricercar mi ha portato a indagare sulla relazione dello scrittore con sua cugina Madame de Sévigné, sulla sua relazione con il principe di Cisterna e infine sulla sua relazione il cardinale Mazarin. Dopo questo il mio lavoro consiste in un’analizzi linguistica della scrittura dell’autore che utilizza spesso le doppie consonanti o gli accenti in maniera diversa della norme. Ma anche sapere se ci sono differenze tra la traduzione e l’originale di Dante.
