"Four Seasons in Rome" by A. Doerr: a translation proposal and an analysis of the challenges faced

The thesis concerns the translation of part of the book "Four seasons in Rome" by Anthony Doerr. What follows is an analysis of the challenges I faced during the translation process, which contains both examples and theoretical explanations. The theoretical explanations are described in more detail in the first chapter, by examining the work of numerous scholars of the field.

La tesi riguarda la traduzione di parte del libro "Four seasons in Rome" di Anthony Doerr. A ciò si aggiunge un'analisi dei passaggi più complessi della stessa, la quale contiene sia esempi che spiegazioni teoriche. Queste ultime sono riprese dal primo capitolo, nel quale la teoria della traduzione viene descritta seguendo gli studi di numerosi accademici.
