The thesis presents a research work in the field of Biology teaching in primary school. The topic of the project is the cardiovascular system, presented to a fifth class through a new, active and laboratory teaching. It is based on concrete and real life experiences, and on the scientific method. A comparison is made between this innovative teaching method and the traditional one, based on frontal lessons and the transmission of knowledge. The purpose of the research is to verify the effectiveness of this didactics, both as regards the acquisition of knowledge and skills, and the interest it arouses in students.
La tesi presenta un lavoro di ricerca nell'ambito dell'insegnamento della Biologia alla scuola primaria. L'argomento proposto è l'apparato cardiocircolatorio, presentato ad una classe quinta attraverso una didattica innovativa, attiva e laboratoriale. Essa si basa su esperienze concrete , legate alla realtà e sul metodo scientifico. Viene fatto un confronto tra questa nuova modalità di insegnamento e la didattica tradizionale, basata sulle lezioni frontali e la trasmissione del sapere. La ricerca è volta a verificare l'efficacia di questa metodologia sia per quanto riguarda l'acquisizione di conoscenze e competenze, che per l'interesse che suscita negli alunni.
