Transizione di genere: come mutano i rapporti sociali all'interno del nucleo familiare.

The aim of this research is to determine the mutation of the relationship between parents and their children during the gender transitioning process. Through a method of qualitative research including half-structured interviews, all the inner workings that get activated within the nuclear family and the way with which the subject has been handled will be examinated, travelling through again the entire process, from the coming out to the hormonal therapy.

L’obiettivo di questo studio è quello di determinare come mutano i rapporti genitori-figli durante il percorso di transizione di genere. Attraverso un metodo di ricerca qualitativo con interviste semi-strutturate, verranno indagati tutti i meccanismi che si attivano all’interno del nucleo familiare e le modalità con la quale si è affrontato l'argomento in famiglia, fino a ripercorrere tutto il processo: dal coming out alla terapia ormonale.
