Comprendere il disagio sociale giovanile. Un'indagine esplorativa

This paper presents a study of social malaise in youth, with a particular focus on peer relationships and bullying. The study is divided into three chapters: the first chapter will explore the existing literature on identity, the second will cover the literature on youth, whilst the third will outline the mixed methods research design. The third chapter is further divided into two parts. The first part will consist of an explorative survey on socio-relational malaise in individuals between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five. The research will be carried out through a questionnaire on Google Forms and analysed using the statistical software SPSS. The second part, instead, will utilise a qualitative method of research, in the form of semi-structured interviews, analysed with the help of the RQDA software. The conclusion will illustrate the main results, such as gender disparities and how participants perceive bullying, recognising the limitations of the research.

In questo elaborato si presenta uno studio sul disagio sociale giovanile, concentrandosi in particolare sulle relazioni con il gruppo dei pari e il bullismo. Questo studio sarà diviso in tre capitoli: nel primo sarà presentata la letteratura sull’identità, nel secondo si passa a quella sull’età giovanile e sul disagio sociale e, infine, nel terzo sarà presentato il disegno della ricerca con metodi misti. Il terzo capitolo sarà ulteriormente suddiviso in due parti. La prima parte si concentrerà su un’indagine esplorativa rispetto al disagio socio-relazionale da parte di individui nella fascia d’età dai diciotto ai venticinque anni. La ricerca si svolgerà tramite un questionario di Google Moduli e analizzata tramite il software di statistica SPSS. Nella seconda parte, invece, ci si avvarrà di un metodo qualitativo tramite delle interviste semi-strutturate, analizzate grazie all’aiuto del software RQDA. Nelle conclusioni si affronteranno i risultati principali come le differenze di genere e come i partecipanti considerino il bullismo, ricordando i limiti della ricerca.
