Abstract
Martensite is a metastable form of steel, composed of a carbon supersaturated interstitial solid solution in body-centered tetragonal iron. It is obtained through a very rapid cooling of the austenite. By operating a heating on a steel, in this case an AISI304, it is possible to analyze the reconversion process of martensite and changes in the microstructure. In particular, we have a steel treated thermally in an oven with one treated with electric current, evaluating the change in the kinetics in the processes.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
