Arte nella Terapia Occupazionale in ambito Psichiatrico

Artistic activities, including painting-drawing and music, are not properly used, in Italy occupational therapy treatments. In other states, including Norway, Spain, Australia and Canada, it is encouraged, in group treatments, but also in individual treatments. In Italy, treatment where art is used, are field of art masters, most present in the psychiatric group activities. This compilation thesis aims to highlight, through the review of articles, how much occupational therapy can be significant, through artistic activities, in individual treatments in the psychiatric field for the motor, cognitive and affective skills for the patient.

Le attività artistiche, tra cui pittura-disegno e musica, non sono utilizzate a dovere, come fine a se stesse, nei trattamenti di terapia occupazionale in Italia. In altri stati, tra cui Norvegia, Spagna, Australia e Canada, viene incentivata non solo nei trattamenti gruppali, ma anche in quelli individuali. Nel territorio italiano la terapia occupazionale, a livello artistico, lascia spazio ai maestri d'arte, specialisti del campo, maggiormente presenti in ambito psichiatrico in attività gruppali. Questa tesi compilativa vuole mettere in luce, mediante revisione di articoli, quanto la terapia occupazionale possa essere significativa, mediante le attività artistiche, in trattamenti individuali in ambito psichiatrico per le abilità motorie, cognitive e affettive dell'utente.
