Tinnitus is an auditory disorder consisting of noises that the ear perceives as annoying to the point of affecting the quality of life of the subject. This is not a disease, but a symptom that affects 15-20% of the population and can occur for different causes, which is why the collaboration of an interdisciplinary team is required to outline a correct diagnosis. To date there is no cure, however this does not mean that there is no treatment, in fact, there are methods to make it less disabling. Among the various therapies that can be used to attenuate the perception of the symptom, in this paper we will focus on Zen Therapy, which consists in relieving tinnitus thanks to the reproduction of relaxing harmonic tones. The interest in this particular technique derives from the experience gained during the academic years. The study consists of the analysis of five clinical cases, each with its own unique characteristics.
