The aim of this reasearch is to examine the relationship between self-compassion and wellbeing in the teaching context, giving a view on the impact that it might have in helping teacher overcome the challenges they face with their job. This research studies links between self-compassion and wellbeing, its links with the elements that impact negatively on wellbeing (burnout, depression, stress...) and, to conclude, some studies that try to verify the effects of self-compassion training programs will be viewed too.
