This study focuses on low cost airlines and their historical evolution. The thesis is divided into four chapters: the first chapter introduces the origins of the low cost business model and the consequent impact on the environment and climate. The second chapter specifically illustrates the case of the Easyjet airline and its eco-sustainable projects. In particular, it deals with investments for the reduction of polluting emissions from its aircraft, the promotion and use of renewable energy and the reforestation of areas in danger of deforestation. The third chapter questions and compares the performance of the low cost airlines operating at the Marco Polo airport in Venice in terms of offsetting carbon dioxide emissions, analyzing the data available for the year 2020. Chapter four presents the final considerations on the study of the mechanisms that allow companies to minimize their impact on the planet and contribute to achieving zero emissions globally.

Abstract
Chapter four presents the final considerations on the study of the mechanisms that allow companies to minimize their impact on the planet and contribute to achieving zero emissions globally.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
