Following the example and accurate analysis of Marco Belpoliti, in this thesis it will be explored how the theme of visibility is always a constant presence in Calvino's poetry and especially in one of his last books: Palomar. Furthermore the work encompasses the theme of photography (Luigi Ghirri and Gianni Celati), of travel/journey as possibility to open new possibilities of interpretation, the relationship between the written and unwritten world, thus between language and reality, finally the concept of literature as a labyrinth.
