Shock culturale e linguistico. Viaggio interculturale attraverso l’esperienza dei bambini di Chernobyl ospitati in Italia

The following thesis aims to analyze the phenomenon of cultural and linguistic shock and to explain its causes through the experience lived by the children of Chernobyl hosted in Italy over 20 years. To address the issue, the in-depth interview method was chosen, proposing a large series of questions aimed at understanding both the negative and the positive aspects of the experience of children, who have now become young adults, paying particular attention to the relationships that have been created with the host families and with the operators of the associations that acted as mediators.

Il seguente elaborato ha il fine di analizzare il fenomeno dello shock culturale e linguistico e di spiegarne le cause attraverso l’esperienza vissuta dai bambini di Chernobyl ospitati in Italia da oltre 20 anni. Per affrontare il tema si è scelto il metodo dell’intervista in profondità proponendo una nutrita serie di domande miranti a comprendere sia gli aspetti negativi che quelli positivi del vissuto dei bambini, oggi divenuti giovani adulti, ponendo particolare attenzione alle relazioni che si sono create con la famiglia ospitante e con gli operatori delle associazioni che fungevano da mediatrici.
