Riorganizzazione dei flussi di materiale nella supply chain di Baxi S.p.a.

The thesis work starts from the analysis of the as-is state of the warehouses, taking advantage of some mapping techniques, including value stream mapping and field observation of the processes that characterize the analyzed departments. Having defined the initial state, the work dealt with the reorganization of the layout of the analyzed warehouses and the redefinition of the flows of people and materials within the considered area. In addition, several improvement activities were proposed and implemented, guided by the logic of Lean Manufacturing, so as to optimize the management of the warehouses considered.

Il lavoro di tesi parte dall'analisi dello stato as-is dei magazzini, sfruttando alcune tecniche di mappatura, tra cui la value stream mapping e l'osservazione sul campo dei processi che caratterizzano i reparti analizzati. Definito lo stato iniziale, il lavoro si è occupato della riorganizzazione del layout dei magazzini analizzati e della ridefinizione dei flussi di persone e di materiali all'interno dell'area considerata. Inoltre, sono state proposte ed attuate diverse attività di miglioramento, guidate dalle logiche della Lean Manufacturing, in modo tale da ottimizzare la gestione dei magazzini presi in considerazione.
