IL RUOLO DEGLI UFFICI DI INFORMAZIONE ACCOGLIENZA TURISTICA IN VENETO: IL CASO DI CITTADELLA

The aim of this thesis is to make a thorough analysis of the role that the Tourist Offices (IAT) of the Veneto region have in the territory. It starts from a necessary introduction concerning the tourist phenomenon in general, so as to better understand the tourism sector in its evolution. Then we will move on to the subject of study for excellence of the tourism sector, namely tourist destinations, defining their main characteristics and the management work that takes place within them. At this point the focus is on tourism in Veneto, defining the tourist offer and the various components that are part of it and that create the tourism sector in the region. In this section we will also talk about the main actions implemented by the Veneto region to update and improve the regional tourism sector, in particular the actions to update and improve the Tourism Offices (IAT) of the region. In the fourth chapter we come to the case study of Cittadella in which we will talk about the Tourist Office (IAT) of the city, defining the role and work that it carries out within Cittadella for a proper management of the tourist phenomenon in the walled city of the Veneto region. In the last chapter of the thesis, however, proposals are made for a cutting-edge tourism in Veneto and Cittadella with final conclusions on the current and future vision that tourism in the region and in the city can take.

L’obiettivo di questa tesi è di fare un’analisi approfondita su il ruolo che gli uffici IAT della regione Veneto hanno nel territorio. Si parte da un introduzione doverosa riguardante il fenomeno turistico in generale, in modo da comprendere meglio il settore del turismo nella sua evoluzione. Successivamente si passerà all’oggetto di studio per eccellenza del settore turistico, ovvero le destinazioni turistiche, definendone le caratteristiche principali e il lavoro di management che si svolge al loro interno. A questo punto il focus si sposta su il turismo in Veneto, definendone l’offerta turistica e le varie componenti che ne fanno parte e che creano il settore turistico nella regione. In questa sezione si parlerà anche delle principali azioni messe in atto dalla regione Veneto per aggiornare e migliorare il settore turistico regionale, in particolare delle azioni per aggiornare e migliorare il comparto degli uffici IAT della regione. Nel quarto capitolo si arriva al caso studio di Cittadella nella quale si parlerà dell’ufficio turistico IAT della città, definendone il ruolo e il lavoro che esso svolge all’interno di Cittadella per una corretta gestione del fenomeno turistico nella città murata veneta. Nell’ultimo capitolo della tesi invece, si danno proposte per un turismo all’avanguardia in Veneto e a Cittadella con delle conclusioni finali sull’attuale e futura vision che il turismo nella regione e nella città potrà assumere.
